Our Batam Trip
Just got back from Batam.... took heaps of pix in the hotel (Planet Holiday)... but all with Alvin. His camera. SOB SOB... always using ppl's camera to take piz.... I've got not enuff spare cash to get a digital camera... SOB SOB!
We were there for Xmas weekend. It was not too bad. But we still prefer Holiday Inn... that's why we were there 3 times in Holiday Inn. This time round, i think we are too adventurous, so thought of exploring other hotels, instead of resorts. This Planet Holiday is consider posh in the Batam City. But to me, it's OK. Holiday Inn is still the best if u wanna stay in the resort to laze around the whole day. Hotel in the city is not the best place to laze, although Batam City wasn't that crowded. BUT the sercurity is super tight there... they will scan every guests first before entering the hotel premises.
On Xmas eve, we had a cheap romantic dinner for only S$25 per pax at the hotel. Ambiance is excellent... candlight... and we had 5 course meal.... very worth the money. We had a choice between turkey and salmon for main course. And both of us took both. AND the main course sucks! haa haa....
On Xmas, we laze around in the hotel, didn't go anywhere.... swim, sun tanning, warm jauzzi (dunno how to spell), steam bath... etc... then after dinner, we went for SPA!!! it's only srub and massage... We wanna do body mask... but they ran out of mask. Kinda screwed up. :( it was a good sleep after the massage. :)
And we return back to singapore on Boxing day evening.... Alvin's sad to be back.. coz he gotta work the next day... and gotta go IPPT in less than a mth's time. SIGH...
This weekend for the new yr... we planned to go Sungie Buloh... hope it don't rain... :) we should have a back up plan huh...
